The Samsung Monte Bar C3200 Review
Background Information & Look & Feel
The Samsung Monte Bar C3200 is not a bad looking mobile phone; it’s slim (measures 112 x 47 x 13mm and weighs 77.3 grams) and slightly wedge looking, but the black and orange colour combination always reminds me of an old NOKIA 3510i I once owned. This mobile is likely to be sold as a pay as you go phone. The fact that this phone is aimed at the lower end of the market makes one question the logic of the Samsung marketing department because the top of the range touchscreen, Samsung S5620, shares the “Monte” name.

Samsung say that the Monte Bar C3200. Maximum talktime as quoted as being over 8 hours with up to 20 days standby time.
In terms of connectivity this phone only has 2G (GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 / GSM 850) and does not come with Wi-Fi. This is perhaps unsurprising as this phone is designed for those who only want to phone and text.
In terms of multimedia, only a lousy 2 megapixel camera and a slow video capture (15 frames per sec) separates this cheap device from the true multimedia mobile phones like its big brother – the Samsung Monte GT-S5620.
The phone also has a FM radio, WAP, a 3.5mm audio socket, and microSD (TransFlash) up to 8GB.
This is a quad band GSM-only device, although it does support EDGE data which is at least something, as long as your network provider supports it. The Monte Bar also supports Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0 connectivity.

Availability & Pricing
No exact price information is available for the Samsung Monte Bar C3200, but this phone is probably going to be a pay as you go phone so it’s likely to be cheap.
